Client-to-Client
The Client-to-Client feature enables Real-Time Clients to communicate with each other regardless of whether they are running on the same machine. This is performed by sending business entity properties between them through a client-to-client channel that you define. Each business entity property is identified by a unique key that both clients recognize.
An example of using the client-to-client feature is when one application runs in a Citrix session and another application runs on the desktop on the same computer. The application running in the Citrix session provides numerous screens that trigger the presentation of callouts in the Real-Time Client and the application running on the desktop handles background processes and communicates with a business application database server. The client-to-client feature enables these applications to transfer information between them, thereby enabling the Real-Time Client to behave as a single unified business logic space.
